How a beginner can get the most out of Protivity:

  1. Take 5 to 10 tablets of Protivity 20 minutes before exercise.

  2. To increase endurance, slowly increase the length of your aerobic exercise each time you workout until you reach your goal.

  3. To increase strength, slowly increase the weight you use during your workouts until you reach your goal.

How an advanced athlete can get the most out of Protivity:

  1. Take 5 to 10 tablets of Protivity 20 minutes before exercise.

  2. Consume the recommended amount of protein for your gender and weight* in addition to the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and enzymes you need to meet the increased demands you place on your body.

  3. Use the method outlined below when lifting weights to achieve the most benefit.

  4. Let each muscle group rest for 48 hours before working it again to allow for recovery time and optimal muscle growth.

*Minimum protein requirements

Men: Divide weight by 2.2, then multiply by 0.9 = grams of protein
Example: A 150 lbs man needs 61 grams of protein

Women: Divide Weight by 2.2, then multiply by 0.8 = grams of protein
Example: A 150 lbs woman needs 55 grams of protein

Weight Lifting Method

For best results with Protivity, try the following method of strength training or any method that may already be working for you. A Certified Personal Trainer can also provide valuable guidance in establishing a workout regimen that is right for you.

Resistance Training

  1. Begin with a low weight warm up set of 15 repetitions.

  2. Increase weight and reduce the number of repetitions with each set.
    For example: lift 10 lbs in a set of 15 repetitions, then 20 lbs in a set of 12 repetitions, then 30 lbs in a set of 10 repetitions, and then finish with another set of 15 repetitions at 10 lbs.

  3. Rest for 1 minute between each set.

The Importance of Amino Acids

Amino acids are the molecular building blocks of protein and muscle tissue. All the physiological processes relating to sport - energy, recovery, muscle/strength gains and fat loss, as well as mood and brain function - are critically linked to amino acids.

Research has confirmed that there are nine essential amino acids, not just eight as earlier research had indicated. These amino acids are termed essential because we must obtain them from our diet.

New research has found that under certain circumstances, your body cannot make the amount of Arginine or Glutamine you need. They have been termed conditionally essential amino acids because you need to obtain them from your diet when you are exercising, if you are 55 years old or over, if you have an illness or medical condition, or you are undergoing physical or mental stress, as we often are. In addition to the ever-present problem of stress, most healthy people exercise regularly. For these reasons, all eleven of these amino acids have been included in Protivity.
